It’s easier than you think to mold crayons – it’s a fun and easy craft to do with the kids. The most annoying part is peeling the paper off the crayons, but the kids love to do this so have them do it. You can mold crayons into any shape using a tin or silicone cupcake or cookie tray – I prefer tin. The molded crayons make wonderful class gifts for Holidays or Birthdays.

What you need:

• Crayons (Crayola melts and writes the best)
• Tin or silicone cookie/cupcake pan

Take all the paper off the crayons (use 2-3 crayons per mold) you don’t want the molded crayons to be too thin. Place the colored crayo). The crayons should be completely melted before you pull them from the oven to cool. Once cooled, the crayons pop out pretty easily.
